I work inside existing teams, across campaigns, product, email, launches, and everything in between. Sometimes that means carrying an existing voice without missing a beat. Sometimes it’s shaping something new within an established brandβ€”like building and launching Boll & Branch’s Substack, then running with it. Either way, I keep the standard highβ€”and the copy sounding like you, not the internet.

I work closely with founders, often alongside a designer, to build the verbal side of the brand from the ground up: naming, voice, messaging, website copy, and the thinking behind it. Because this is the shop window, the first impression, and the reason someone leans inβ€”or doesn’t.

For authors who need a sharp editorial brain and a steady hand on the wheel.

I work with non-fiction authors as a developmental and structural editor, helping shape ideas, structure the narrative, and keep things moving in the right direction. I’m there for the big-picture questions, the fiddly details, and the moments where you can no longer tell whether a chapter is brilliant or deranged. Calm, clear, beady-eyed attention included.
